WHAT TO EXPECT

What's Happening?

Nest Fest is an all day free festival in West Kennebunk, Maine.
It has been an idea from a good handful of people for awhile now.
This summer it will/(might)*** actually happen! On June 21st!!

Here are the generics in short spurts:

It will be on the Nest Compound (Thank you!).
It will be next to a small pond and a cranberry bog (currently dry since we are not in cranberry season).

Yes, there will be a cranberry bog, please do not walk on it. You will fuck up the harvest.

There will be room for camping, so YOU are encouraged to bring whatever you feel comfortable camping in, if you feel like camping. We can't provide anything but some ground space.

There will be grills, so if you bring food, you can grill on these grills. If you bring drinks, you can drink them.

There will be tables, so if you bring art or music or any odd creation, you can share it - trade, sale, charity - your pick.

There will mostly be music.
There will be music all day.
During the day there will be loud music.
In the evening there will be softer music.
In the evening there will be bonfires, constellations, and a dark pond to accompany that music.

The festivities will begin at noon.
Please come as early as you can, so all of the bands can have a crowd.
Also, early birds, get first pick on favorable camping spots for their very own little NESTS
(no, it's not called Nest Fest for that reason, that would be disgusting).

***THIS IS IMPORTANT: if it rains on the 20th or 21st, the show will have to be cancelled. there is no backup plan... all or nothing. rain = nothing. SO KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE SKIES (and weather.com, I suppose).

Want to help Nest Fest?

Extra tables and grills would be really helpful.
Don't walk on the cranberries.
Carpool.

Hope to see you there. Please remember to R.S.V.P. to laughablerecordings@gmail.com (you can ask questions here, as well), so that we know what to expect.

THANKS!
